More Pinhole Photos

I spent some time working on experimental cameras, I tried making two variations of a kaleidoscope camera and both seem to not be working. I believe the first one is suffering from light leaks. As for the second one, the weather was constantly shifting between cloudy and sunny and I could not get a good exposure time, all black or all white. I got a grey one but I think it was only grey because I didn't let it develop into black.
All of the larger square photos are from my first camera and the smaller are from my second experimental camera.

Pinhole Camera #1 Photos!

First photo! I set the camera on the ground pointing down some stairs outside of the Library Building/Uhall. 2 Seconds, very sunny! Image inverted:

After sanding the bur did not increase the image size I tried pulling the box slightly apart increasing the focal length from about 4.5 cm to 6.5 cm. This filled up the photo paper much more! I struggled to adjust the exposure time to change in sun.

Pinhole Camera #1

Inside of the camera
Pin hole back sanded down to remove bur and tape added to prevent light leaks, Painted matte black to avoid reflections

Front of camera
I made a “shutter” by layering some aluminum behind a cardboard square that was larger than the square cut out for the pinhole aluminum to help avoid light leaks.
Depth of camera fully closed is about 4.5 cm, it can be opened a bit while still remaining light safe which makes it up to about 6-7 cm
